Virtual Mentoring: Resources for When Face-to-Face May Not Be an Option

Description: This webinar will focus on the why, the what and the how of developing new or adapting existing mentoring programs to utilize a virtual format. Presenters will share research and best practices related to virtual mentoring as well as demonstrate some platforms that are available for agencies to use to help make the pivot to virtual programming. Ample time will be reserved for conversation.

Description: Team Up believes in doing whatever it takes to help young people achieve growth and success and the power of mentoring. 2020 has brought a host of new challenges in bringing mentoring to young people, yet the need for mentoring is greater than ever. What can we do in this current environment to ensure young people have the relational resources they so desperately need? Join Team Up Mentoring as we discuss best practices for mentoring relationships and how to pivot those best practices during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Not Just Another Mentor Program

Description: All mentor programs seek to serve those in need, but knowing that all children need a mentor and finding ways to reach them is critical. Creative paths for mentors to engage with children, especially those who might not be willing to have a typical mentor, is possible through program development and “out of the box” thinking.

Collaboration Brings Successful Mentoring

Dr. Marshall Bruner, PSY.D, Clinical Director, Mark Mobley, Executive Director and Marie Davis, Director of Mentoring, discuss how their mental health and prevention services function and contribute to the success of the Mentor Program at Center Point. Center Point has served the Hall County, Georgia community for over 50 years.
